These terms apply when you use princesstofu.com ("the site"), run by Princess Tofu ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Using the site

  • The site is free to use for your own, non-commercial purposes.
  • You may link to any page and share short extracts with a link back to the source.
  • Don't copy our verdicts, guides or recipes in bulk, republish them as your own, or scrape the site to build a competing product.
  • Don't try to disrupt the site, its security or the services it runs on.

Our verdicts

Our "is it vegan?" verdicts are based on the ingredient lists, manufacturer information and sources available on the review date shown on each page. Manufacturers change recipes without notice, and the same product can differ between countries. Always read the label of the product you're buying.

A verdict tells you whether a product contains animal-derived ingredients. It isn't allergy information. If you have an allergy or intolerance, check the pack and contact the manufacturer.

Recipes

Our recipes are for home cooking. Check every ingredient yourself if you have an allergy or dietary requirement, and follow normal food-safety practice.

Not health or nutrition advice

Nothing on the site is medical, health or nutrition advice. For advice about your own diet or health, speak to a doctor or registered dietitian.

We link to manufacturers, retailers, restaurants and other sources. We aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. Brand names and trademarks belong to their owners, and mentioning a product isn't an endorsement.

Intellectual property

The text, recipes, photos, graphics and design of the site belong to Princess Tofu unless stated otherwise.

Liability

We provide the site "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under Irish law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
